My Kids feed well

Male Reeves Turtles are usually quite melanistic as they age.
They are renowned that their eye became quite prettier with the blackening.
This male seems yet too young to became black-colored.

No sign of melanism yet with comparatively light brown in color for a male.
His plastron looks like having black markings on the yellow.
Usually males have more of very dark shells and skins.
That's why I'm wondering if he's an hybrid with other species.

I wonder if he will become melanistic little by little with age, it's interesting to watch.

Female Razorback Turtle

Somebody posted "Boy" for sales in a turtle cafe.
I like the male ones, so I contacted him and received it.
It turned out female.I don't understand why people couldn't identify the sex of turtles, just calling them whichever sex they feel they might be.
Look at the male(bigger on the left) and female(smaller on the right front).

Chinese Male Reeves Turtle

This is a Chinese male Reeves Turtle I adopted lately.

It's amazing that this one has colored pattern on the plastron.
This is Reeves Turtle, not Red Eared Slider!

Razorback Turtle Not A Good Swimmer

He is my male Razorback Musk Turtle.
He usually roaming around down under the tank.

He can't stay floating up like Red Eared Slider swimming by.

He is flipping up to the pellet on the surface.
Quite an effort.

Unidentified Species

One day my friend sent me a picture from small local pet shop.
Asking which species this is, I was confused, maybe map turtle.
What do you expect from a pet shop in the neighborhood.
This is a suburban store down south from Seoul.
Usually rare would be come across in Seoul's big pet streets. I sent the picture to a fellow well-known-in-cafe mania.
He even couldn't identify this one.
I came by the shop on my way down home.
Shop owner told me he got it from the Hong Kong Reptile Fair or something.
He even doesn't know the species.
A fellow Korean mania gave me a prompt answer.
It turned out "Keeled Box Turtle".

Good Fellas~

I'm really happy that He's completely up and around now.
He's eating very very well and cheerfully active.
My Common Musk, Sideneck Turtle and Razorback Turtle are very mild ones.
I would've taken any one out if any aggressiveness or nipping at others were found.

Up and Around in Full Swing

I remember I was almost giving up on them. They were really ill and couldn't open their eyes.
I affectionately wrapped them up with soft and dried towels every night, they can rest like hibernation in warmth.
I was giving them injections of Vitamin B on every second day, Vitamin A & anti-biotics a couple of times in total respectively.

Finally overcoming eye disease

It's been a couple of monthes since they couldn't see with swollen and closed eyes. I've diligently giving them injections of vitamin B on a regular basis, vitamin A and antibiotics a few times.
Injections might've been working for them. Now bigger one completely opens his eyes.Small one's still closing one eye, he is feeding well though which relieves me.
